Hughes set to make £3m bid for Shay Given this week

Purely a guess, but seeing as Villa are almost certain to turn down £3m, cd this be an attempt by Hughes to make Brum reduce their price for Foster (Brum are desperate for cash by all accounts). However, this might be pure wishful thinking on my part as wd much prefer Foster due to his age and also think he commands his area better.

We should go for a euro 1st or 2nd keeper to get a keeper with good skills and international experience.
