Neither of us were there. Neither of us know who started the situation. All we know is the Barton got arrested and questioned. With his reputation and all the attention he gets, I can't imagine why he wants to put himself in the firing line by hanging around nightclubs in Liverpool. Oh yeah. He's an attention seeker who courts trouble on a daily basis.

None of them play for QPR. Barton aside, we don't seem to have any players consistently setting a bad example.
Point 1: Good job you arent playing for QPR also, as you would be rolling around like a girl feigning injury every time someone touched you, or running away and hiding when things get a bit heated.

Point 2: No I wasn't there. But Barton is entitled to go where the **** he likes and shouldnt have to stay at home through fear of being approached or attacked. And im sure he doesnt take his missus for nights out on the town because he is an attention seeker.

Point 3: Didn't say they did play for QPR. But when you go to a QPR Match do you and your child only see QPR Players? No, didn't think so. Yet you chose to ignore the fact that there are hundreds of players who cheat, kick, spit, headbutt, push, strangle other players yet when Barton does it you absolutely slaughter him!! Im sure you also stopped watching football when Cantona drop kicked a supporter? Or when Keown had a pop at Van Nistelrooy? Or all the other infamous incidents that are too many to mention.

Not saying Barton is an angel, but he is a target for every player and supporter, I'd love to see how you would handle that pressure. But oh yeh silly me, he asks for it because he goes on twitter??!! ffs

In your world it seems there are just two ways to behave on a football pitch:

          1) "rolling around like a girl feigning injury... running away and hiding" etc.
          2) kicking and headbutting as many of the opposition as possible if a decision goes against you

... with nothing in between it seems? You can't think much of Sean Derry for walking off the pitch with dignity when unjustifiably sent off at Old Trafford. To you I guess he was "running away and hiding", right?

He's gone out of his way to make himself unpopular. So now he is, and things like this are bound to happen. It might not be right, but if he will spend his life antagonising people then he's going to spend his days as a walking target. Such is life.

Not just the Twitter, but that's part of it. He does ask for it. Every day. Yes, he is a target for every player and supporter because he's brought that on himself. Deliberately. Because he's a sociopath or similar. An utter tool walking around life with a persecution complex and doing his utmost to make his paranoid fantasises come true. He gets what he deserves. As for criticising Barton more than other players who do reprehensible things - no, not the case. The difference is, this particular helmet, to use Barton's favourite word, plays for our club so I'm more likely to mention it on a QPR messageboard.

Right. Using the word helmet is morally equivalent to going mental on a football pitch, letting down your team and fans in a vital match and then making it perfectly clear that no remorse is felt.

You've picked out one word from that reply to criticise, and even after rangersbitch put it in context?

Hang on, I criticised your post, and that means I don't have a mind of my own? The options I have are agree with you, or keep quiet?

You appear to have got your finger stuck on the keyboard couple of times btw

Nervous breakdown? Is that what you call it when someone doesn't agree with you?

                            I've already said exactly that.

He's done neither and I hope he's given us enough rope to hang him with.

If we can't get rid of him, I hope the above again, but as before I'm not confident.
If he stays, I'm not going to stop supporting QPR, so I'll just have to hope he doesn't cause us any further bother. I will accept the board and MH's decision. I don't have to like it.

Not sure why this is so important to hear though, I doubt anyone will stop supporting QPR if Barton stays. If they do, then they'd be cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Barton is far too pathetic to be worth losing something so precious as a lifetime's loyalty.
