actually mate i really dont see a problem with Barton. I am just interested with what he does on the pitch and for the last half dozen games of the season he proved to me that he is a decent premiership midfielder and a leader. I couldnt care less what he does off the pitch and i like his aggressiveness and passion on the pitch. I respect your opinion tho stan as i know you are Ranger's thru and thru .... guess we just agree to disagree and both back Hughes decision?

Not much use if his aggression and passion on the pitch results in a 12 match ban though mate. That's a third of the season he's sitting at home picking up 80k or whatever he earns a week.

Do you really think he gives a t055 what's happening on the pitch when he is in that position?.

That's the problem with football today.Money has ruined it.Why should he care when he is gonna earn over a million quid just sitting at home watching Sky Sports News?.

I just wish he would shut the fook up on twitter, keep his head down and act like a proffessional sportsman usually acts and play good football.

That way he would not get half the grief he gets.

ok. barton and henderson are not the same type of player - so the comparison is not valid.

barton, bless him, is not someone short of self-belief. he works hard. excluding his final two minutes, he finished the season reasonably well (ie just about justifying the amounts of money we're supposed to be paying him). but overall, he's had a patchy season - few would say that this term equalled or bettered last season with newcastle.

i don't have huge issues about him commenting on the england squad... but there's two things that spring to mind right now. first is... is this another instance of "it's all about joey"... if so, it's really getting tedious now. second, and far more important from where i'm sitting, is that i want him to concentrate more on being a consistently fantastic player for qpr so that people need to argue against his inclusion in the england squad (let's be honest... when the 22 was announced, no-one was baffled by joey's exclusion... nothing to do with man city, garlands, b johnson etc).

6/7 games tops and he's an england player. very average player to date. an old scholes would put a player in his prime right in his place. stick to trying to hold your place at rangers barton. impress the people who pay you first..ie..the fans.

Have to disagree there - watched some games from last season a couple of days ago including the Liverpool game, in which Barton was booed and subbed. They showed some stuff on Mackie's winner including the bench and I saw Barton jumping on Gabbidons(dunno who it was) back and celebrated like we had won the F.A cup. What I am trying to say is that Joey isn't a gold digger who rather sits and around while cashin' the dough than playing for his team. He is a passionate player with alot of heart who doesn't deserve that sort of talk. My personal opinion and my view of that single sequence obviously.

i saw that too and that's why, despite all the obvious evidence pointing in other directions, i can't feel totally against joseph, but, y'know, he pushes it at times.

i do find the "all about joey" thing really tedious. in this case, it's not like henderson has got his england place at barton's expense. (fwiw, henderson is a player with potential and i'm a bit uncomfortable with barton trying to prompt a big debate about his inclusion - players need a bit of confidence from their supporters, like what joey sad when he got booed, so i'm a bit disappointed with jb for making a fuss (and, with over a million twitter followers, he does know he's making a fuss)).

play really well for qpr, joey. do that and other people will say you should be in the england squad - you won't need to do it for yourself!!!!!!!!

A very simple formula needed here, if they wear the QPR shirt then you support them, I know if Barton was elsewhere I'd dislike him, but he plays for QPR then he is a member of the elite.

If QPR fans don't back him then WHO has he got?

It's not like you lot have done QPR proud. Half of you don't go...
Did you go and watch us before he was booed off at the Liverppol game? I am sure you did and if so you will know he was totally unproffessional and useless even with his ability. Didn't want to be here and didn't make any effort (don't give me Wolves away). It took that booing to actaually make him put any effort at all in to our club.

He is a million miles from international standard on form (not ability) and comparing to other players, that may not be either, does not mean he is good enough.

If you follow his tweets you will know that he rates himself as one of the best 4 midfielders in the UK, not just England, and has done even through his shocking form. Bloke is a total t.wat, and it makes me laugh when people tell us we should support him just because he is a QPR player when he brings nothing but damage to our club.....even last game could have cost us relegation for his own ego. Also strange that the same people will say we shouldn't support England because ther is a t.wat in that team too.

For those who like to bring up the ironic on here. Surely, the most ironic thing that has happened is Barton telling a player picked for England that he isn't good enough (although Barton apparently supports England). But some on here say QPR supporters are not allowed to say anything negative about Barton. And then they support Bartons right to say what he wants while lauding it over others on here that they must support Barton as he plays in the hoops regardless of his behaviour..

Have to agree, Barton lives by social media being critical of all those who cross his radar whether it be TOWIE, toon board, shearer, GL, NW, FA, beckhams pants but when posters on her are critical of him often with valid reasons such as he didn't play particularly well for us and got sent off in two important games not because of passion but because he can't control his temper then posters are protecting him like he's some elderly defenceless woman.

He gives an image of being righteous but flawed but the facts are he's a false prophet, a charlatan who was caught out IMHO by trying to blame his own teammates for lashing out at man city players. Actually worse than a grass as a grass tends to grass on people that did it, he grasses on players that had to play the game of their careers against a billion pound assembled team that were wholly innocent. Imagine the outcry if Adel had committed such treachery.

Nothing worse than not having loyalty.
