QPR's grand ambition of signing Montpellier's Olivier Giroud could be helped by Arsenal, according to reports in France
The French champions are resigned to losing the striker, with Rangers, Malaga and Atletico Madrid registering an interest.
And a deal to sign the 25-year-old will be a smoother transaction if the recently crowned Ligue 1 champions can seal their move for Gunners striker Marouane Chamakh.
