Pretty important point, you had no clue he played up front for Spurs reserves and that Clive Allen played him there and you see him as a midfielder based on where you saw Paulo Sousa play him.

As for reserve football in the premiership its a high standard, unless of course you are saying Tarrabt is not good enough to be at Rangers?

First game up front in the championship

Where Pete's argument is totally flawed is, the owners and him have demanded we play 442. JM has already recognised, as any manager would, that only rowlands, mahon, or the new guy can play in this system. This is why for tarabet, vine, balanta, buzz to play, it needs a different system of 451 or 433, if any of these players are to be prolific goalscorers. Also this so called passing football totally disappeared after 30 mins, and was never seen again.

It amazes me that what pete said before the match, and has repeated after watching the match, that people still value what he has to say. There must be another agenda going on here, and shows we have non football people making the decisins at bthe club.

We have totally wasted the close season to bed in a new striker(s), and now any new additions will need to be scoring immediately as the boo boys will be in full voice way before pete's 6 games.
        Bang on mate.Totally agree.

reseves in the premiership is high standard....but its still not championship...you know less time on the ball.
As for not good enough....jury is out for me...far to greedy and not enough team play.....but he is young....but not the answer to the striker problem.
wait until the end of august you say....but then we might have to play catch up with a sh!te strikeforce if we cannot get anyone in.

I'm just saying, even my mates also keeps telling me that Tarrabt is a midfielder.

he played all his reserve games for Spurs as striker

            Scoring record was pretty good.

Reserve level Yes, but Kamara plays in the reserves for Fulham and some want us to spend 4 million on him and Lita could not even get in the first team for Reading, same with Ched Evans.

Reading had a good strike force anyway....just Lita was not as good....but better than ours.
As for Evans...never seen him play so cannot judge....same with Kamara.

But anybody who knows football can see we need an out & out striker...not a midfielder playing lets pretend

As I said, I have no qualms about playing Tarrabt up front, his scoring record in Spurs reserves up front is very good, thats I why I want to just wait.

Though, I cannot wait for Ben to keep telling me that Tarrabt is a midfield player, when he clearly is not.

Ben Sahar was a super reserve striker.

Dont think we can judge Tarrabt just yet however we can judge Helgusson as a striker as he started this season the same as he ended last not being able to hit the target.

Lets all agree with Pete and say Taraabt is a striker. Doesn't mean that Agyemang, Helguson or Vine are going to score enough goals between them to turn us from mid table to play off hopefulls. Pete has admitted that our strikers aren't the best in the league but won't admit that therefore we should buy someone else to improve the strikers. I of course don't want to be proved right because I would love Helguson, Vine et al to score loads of goals but I doubt they will and like last year we will regret not signing plenty of then available strikers.
