Tarabbt should be on the left wing not in the hole behind a striker. You need brains to play in that position and that is something he ain't got yet. He is to greedy to play in the middle and will get bashed up by CBs. It's funny how he made his impact on the wing last season, but now he is a striker.

Where Pete's argument is totally flawed is, the owners and him have demanded we play 442. JM has already recognised, as any manager would, that only rowlands, mahon, or the new guy can play in this system. This is why for tarabet,vine,balanta,buzz to play, it needs a different system of 451 or 433, if any of these players are to be prolific goalscorers. Also this so called passing football totally disappeared after 30 mins, and was never seen again.

It amazes me that what pete said before the match, and has repeated after watching the match, that people still value what he has to say. There must be another agenda going on here, and shows we have non football people making the decisins at bthe club.

We have totally wasted the close season to bed in a new striker(s), and now any new additions will need to be scoring immediately as the boo boys will be in full voice way before pete's 6 games.

Benny, your naiviety about football amazes me. We draw a game 1-1 and have scored 10 gaols in pre-season and you and others are screaming for a striker.

I'm simply saying that we have enough quaity in the team to see in the next 5-6 games to see if scoring goals is going to be a problem.

We created in the game, which is the main thing another day Helgusson scores we win 3-0 and you would still be asking for a striker. FFS, Helguson record is good in front of goal and someone like him will; come good. Why, would anyone spend 2-3 million on a striker to (and because he is name)?? When you cannot guarantee he will score 20 goals.

Tarrabt has already said his target is 15 goals, for someone you say cannot score, well he created quite alot yesterday. I say give him a little time and at least see where we are end of AUGUST. It was his first game up front

what a load of tosh....10 goals in pre-season against who...if you base our striking on pre-season then with Oxford scoring 2 past us they should score for fun in the conference....
pre-season are warm up games....we scored easily but when it came to the bread & butter games it was all misses....
This also is not based on ONE game as you are assuming its based on the fact we were the lowest scorers last season and have sold our top scorer.
