So your snide little dig about the Lib Dems was so important you had to edit it three times but when Kirill asked if you would, in return, mind others making similar assumptions about your politics you responded "Pointless as usuall [for the record Paul most of us usually spell it "usual"]. As must be evident to all other posters, Kirill was entirely to the point. And given some of your posts, I would say your politics are even money between BNP and Monster Raving Loony. You seem to have an issue with the politics of the people who run this board. For the record I have no idea who the other mods vote for because funnily enough this is a FOOTBALL forum - any more than if I went on a politics website I would get into discussion about what football team those posters support. Believe it or not Paul just because you might not come across Liberal Democrats (or socialists or Conservatives) in your BNP or Raving Loony circles there are plenty of them out there. You need to learn to respect other opinions, including those not found in the Daily Mail. If you could only try that you might get on with people a bit better on here. Cheers.

Well seeing as you bring it up, that was me that banned you mate (I know you were dying to know) for insulting other posters as usual, and if you keep bitching and moaning about it then I'll gladly just ban you again, without a second's hesitation (especially as Kirill is away for a few days )
And yes I'm picking on you because youre the biggest culprit on this site at it...you and Mason that is
anyhow nice to see you havent given in and have been talked down....welcome back
If i get bans or infractions from Quaz or Brighton then i know i have probably earned them because they are fair moderators good at the job but you on the other hand are not fair or particularly good at it. You seem to take things to personally and let emotions rule your moderation...need to chill a bit mateLast edited by vblockranger; 06-06-2012, 11:32 PM.

Brighton has never given a single ban or infraction (up to now), that's not his style and he has other ways, so youre wrong on that count.
Ok let's get a couple of things straight mate - as far as moderating on here, people's views and politics make zero difference to me. Taking yourself as an example, whether I agree with you or not, I will pick you up if you break the forum rules. 99% of posters here rarely even get warnings let alone points, and on the rare occasion they do, most of the time they'll hold their hands up to it. But youre one of the few that likes throwing his toys out of the pram.
Anyway, it's really simple mate - stick to the rules and I'm sure we'll all get along swimmingly.
Break them or bleat about them (including how we administer them) and you'll be out on your ear before you can say "guardian reading yoghurt-knitter".
Rule 1b for you again: While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks.
I and all other mods agree that you have breached this quite a bit lately. No longer though. And if you think its fine to insult someone then follow it with a happy smiley to pass it off as banter, then wrong again too. We think the rules here are pretty fair and they've worked well over the years.
And lastly, the moderator's decision is always final. IOW it's our way or the highway, your choice mate. There's plenty of other QPR forums out there youre welcome to try out. I've been doing this gig for about a year now and frankly you and Paul are the only two problematic posters in my experience. Everyone else has been sound with me on the whole. The vast majority of posters we never need to get strict with but in a few rare cases we do unfortunately. If you don't think I'm a particularly good mod, that's fine mate, go crying to Quaz if you like, I really couldn't give a flying fig, but I will always call things as I see themLast edited by Stanley; 07-06-2012, 01:09 AM.

Vblock,
I'm sorry if this sounds like a rant or what our friend Mr Mason would refer to as a sermon, but just use some common sense for a moment and try to take it in the spirit it is meant.
As I have stated before on numerous occasions, I personally do not like to issue either warnings or points. I have always tried to explain things as I see it, which because it takes much longer and a lot more effort, can seem a bit like preaching/pontificating. It is never meant as such.
I really feel that the best way forward for you is to forget what may have occurred in the past, as it's in the past and instead try to be a little more sympathetic to other peoples opinions. After all, we are almost all Rangers fans, all members of WATRB's and as such, should be at the very least respectful to each other as a starting point. I'm pretty sure you weren't very keen on me some time back, but got used to me eventually.
Sorry for going on, but if we can sort this issue out now, we won't have to keep having further instances of it, which we as a site do not want as it puts people off. The aim of this site is that we can all talk about Rangers and football. To discuss concerns and to share opinions. To have a laugh when the opportunity arises. To be happy for each other when things are going well. And to help each other through all the frustrations when they're not. It is not about debating the rules of this forum. They are already in place and unlikely to change. Nearly everyone abides by them all the time, some occasionally overstep the mark and just a tiny minority appear to be always on the look out for confrontation. Please don't put yourself into the last category.
Disagree with people by all means. But we should all remember that it isn't a contest to prove our opinions are right and other people's are wrong. It's not going to have too much adverse effect on our lives if we cannot get people to see things from our perspective.
Finally, (thank goodness), I have just seen your latest post. The fact that you mention being saddened by a potential dislike is a positive sign; evidence of caring. You'll just have to trust me on this, but there is no personal animosity from Stanley towards you at all. He doesn't operate like that. For the record, none of us do. If you still suspect otherwise though, please just PM him or myself if you find it easier. All we are trying to do with the moderation is attempt to ensure that this is a place that everyone can enjoy and feel welcome and wanted. And that includes you.

In America there is a problem with Progressive Liberals, who are trying to mandate what people do, say, think etc, etc, I wonder if we have a few on here.
