I feel sorry for Joey and it looks like it wasnt his fault and any blame on him for this is unjust imho but the problem we have is that our club is in a transitional period and for once we have a stable and positive board, a top manager and funds. The club want to move forward with a new stadium and training ground and attract top talent and global sponsorship. Our owners are respected businessmen, who probably see the brand QPR as a way of globalising their business interest and brining in sponsorship deals for the club.
At the end of the day they don't deserve all the negative media interest (whether it's warranted or not by JB). I think people can handle the odd mess up but it's been consistent drivel whether supporting the toon and slagging off their board, backstabbing NW, having a go at the training regime, allegations of dividing the camp, trying to headbutt someone in a must win game, embarrassing the club and getting sent of against city. Slagging off England legends who might be annoying but probably don't deserve to be abused by JB. 12 match ban at a time when the club want to strengthen. Just embarrassing IMHO.
This is when he is our captain and really hasn't done it on the pitch for us, we have been consistently overrun in midfield. At the end of the day, players earn big wages for a reason.
