  • Was it Aguero and Tevez in disguise? Maybe not. Maybe it was one of the other millions of people who he annoys. He will always be targeted. He`s fault or not he`s fault...trouble walks with Joey. Does that help our team?

But all this was true before QPR bought him too.

      • once again we`re talking about barton for all the wrong reasons..regardless if he should or should`nt be outside a club at 5am getting into grief, the bloke is trouble with a capital T..i do believe some fans have a displaced loyalty towards him just because he wears the hoops..personally i hope he dont ever play for us again, not just because he`s a liability but im hoping we`ll have a better quality choice of players to fill the midfield.

So you're saying last nights incident will affect our team?? Get a grip!

          • I'm glad to see the poll results are in Joey's favour.

Your question makes no sense though! Why would an incident last night affect our team? You're asking a question that is not relevant to last night! The players don't give a toss what Joey gets up too nor anyone else as long as they perform on matchday.

Agreed. Terry being a ****hammer didn't stop the **** from winning the Champions League or the FA Cup.

Fair enough in the last game he shouldnt of lashed out but the knee to aguero was trying to help qpr by geting a man sent off for city! Terry is a knob but chelsea get behind him! We could do alot worse than joey barton! alberti anyone?

Can we put this to bed please. Joey himself said to the FA, this was rubbish. No Team mate told hims to do so and he misled people into thinking this was his intention.

Oh and West Ham won't be buying him. Why would you pay for someone who can't play until late November ?
At best, they consider taking him on, IF QPR sack him or cancel his contract. But they won't spend good money on him.

All that said, it appears he is the innocent party in this case today.

doubt it - the authorities seem to have done something about punishing the attackers. wouldn't happen if it was tevez...

Last night is ONE of several negative "incidents" that he`s been a part of. Everyone knows that. For example: Aguero knew it, Tevez knew it and Johnson knew it. Because of that and his "ability" to deal with his own behavior - he`ll always be targeted. On and off the pitch. Probably even more the coming seasons.

We can get someone much better and less disruptive.

                          Comprende?

This thread is about last night, not Man City.

oh by the way, the good name that QPR had has completely vanished now due to some of the abuse we dish out at loftus road, yep thats right us fans have done far more to damage the so called good name of QPR. Do i care what other people think of our club? no i couldn't give a ****. so get off your high horses and get off bartons back with regard to THIS incident.

Pleased to read this. I made the same point on page 2 or 3 but no response. The booing, jeering, swearing hand gestures etc etc that so many people thought made Loftus Rd a fortress, paints us in just the same light as Joey. Again, pleased to read an intellegent post with perspective.

Another point - does not walking away from abuse and an attack paint a positive picture? Ok, it's unwanted attention but look at the positive action he took. Credit where credit is due.
