It's a perverse decision. I'm 100% in favour of bringing in new blood but it has to be done sensibly.

Clearly Rio isn't getting a look in, and we all know why that is. It's outrageous that the court case was put back for such a long time solely to accomodate the requirements of the defence ( = the FA).

no Richards, Rio, Carrick, Lennon, Crouch, Cole.

      In Henderson, Kelly, Downing, Walcott

We looked terrible yesterday and France, who i think have got a really good squad and are dark horses for the whole thing will beat us with a 2 goal margin comfortably.

Euro 2012: England's injury crisis mounts for Roy Hodgson

Whatever Roy Hodgson might now have in mind for the French, and he says some kind of plan is forming, he must be bracing himself for yet more disruption.

Can't believe henderson, kelly and downing are in this squad, they wouldn't make the bench at QPR if i picked the team

Yeah well done FA. What makes it even more laughable is the fact he's been poor this season and Rio is a far better player.....

I think this has something to do with Sir Alex - as has the Carrick decision. SA has made it clear he doesn't want Rio going due to the risks of playing multiple games in short time due to his back. He also said he deoesn't want Carrick in the squad if he isn't going to play. I think Roy made a behind the scenes agreement and it's too late to change now without losing face.

Didn't this saintly top pro blatantly cheat with a pissing sample a few years back?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

I don't think for a second hed been taking drugs. He was a top player so why would he need to really?

I think he was just incredibly stupid and arrogant and expected they'd do it when it suited him.... Obviously it doesn't work like that.

He could've been up to stuff of course but I've always thought the same on the matter.

SAF had nothing to do with Carrick. It was Carrick who said he didn't want to go as a bit part squad player.

SAF had suggested Rio may struggle with 3 games in 8 days. Let's all be clear though, that's not the reason he's not in the squad, but that's given Roy the excuse not to pick him. Everyone knows Rio's out due to Terry abusing his brother. Most squad players don't play in tournaments at all, let alone need to worry about 3 games in 8 days.

Doesn't make it right that he is excluded from his last and only Euros because his brother was allegedly racially abused by another member of the England squad.
