I would not support Joey Barton next season if Hughes kept him. How could I given what I have written here. But I would support Hughes' decision, and I would give unequivocal support for the team, as I have always done. I would tolerate Barton, and would hope against hope that he would not let the team down again.

I tolerated him last season but from the offset I said he was not the sort of player I would want at Rangers. Didn't cheer him or applauded him, so won't next season if MH chooses to play him.
IMHO he'll train with the reserves or youth team and will eventually put in a transfer request. Can't see him ever playing for the first team again whilst Amit and Tony are in charge.22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

My support of the team is unquestionable but I don't have to like every player who has ever played for us. How would you feel if we signed Lee Hughes, Marlon King and that Goalkeeper whose training with Swindon (can't remeber his name, the one that killed 2 children?). You could quite easily put Joey in that group after all he's done in his life?22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. We've all got our opinions on this, and the Barton issue has certainly polarised many, but please try and remember that just because someone holds a different view to you doesn't mean they're any less entitled to it, and doesn't give you the right to keep disrespecting it however much you may disagree. I'm sure no real malice is intended by the name-calling, but is it really necessary at the same time? I'm sure youre perfectly capable of getting your points across without resorting to it.
Fair enough?

i unreservedly apologise to all my fellow rangers fans if by me calling you the above names have made you cry. I am sorry. Truly. I also apologise to all real tank top wearing folk if my posts demean your choice of fashion. I thank you. As for the lefties i will now refer to you as "Guardian readers" instead (tell Stanley76 if you feel this also may make you cry or get upset). You know who you are.Last edited by vblockranger; 02-06-2012, 02:31 PM.

As I say, I only used those as a couple of recent examples. There have been others. And please read what I wrote - nowhere did I say it was "hate speech".
