Like most deals they may have paid a percentage up front to Blackburn, maybe we can pay them the remainder and they pay if Blackburn hopefully that's about 6-7m
        Kept the faith!

Perhaps he is not happy because of racism. This could be the point the Russians may be foreced to sell and a lower price!

can't see them having to sell him at a lower price simply because he wants to leave? also - no proof he's being racially abused (though wouldn't surprise me).

great player - rated him a lot. Blackburn may have stayed up with him in the team, think that was their biggest loss.

but yes, as said - 12m?:no-waigif:

We have to pay it! It's all well and good saying he's not worth 12 mil, but if we're building for the future we need to mean business! And a excellent centre half!

I don't want the club to pay 12 million on one player, we can get 3 to 4 good players with that.

Samba is just what we need...a commanding centre back.

                        Sign him up...please !!

He would be perfect for us, but not at £12m.

Bear in mind though this club have ridiculous wealth and pay unbelievable money. IF he's getting abused or whatever and decides he wants out, i think they may cut their losses and take a hit.... it won't make a difference to them in the scheme of things. £8m could be relaistic, but even then i'm not sure i'd be happy spending that on one CB. Would maybe prefer MH and his team get an import cheap, ala Samba / Kompany for a lower fee.

Don't Uefa rules mean that a player can't play for more than 2 different clubs within 12 months? So this can't happen?
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

Currently under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. This applies whether the player has been transferred or simply is on loan with that club.

This also applies regardless of what country that player has plied his trade in, whether that is in Europe, Africa or South America. As long as a player has represented a club in a league under the adjudication of a FIFA Member Association they will only be able to play for three different clubs.

However, this does mean that a football player is free to represent a total of three different clubs in any league in the world over the course of one season.
