If you really don't mind Welsh people then you must be saying that it's a question of legality I suppose? You're saying you think they are breaking a league regulation? This should be easy enough to check out.

If it's not illegal then you're going to have to use devolution as a reason for restricting the movement of not just Welsh football teams from playing in England but ... Welsh bands from playing in England, and Welsh people in general from working in England. Where do you stop?
I have no objection to the Welsh, because I don't know any to object to! I simply do not see why teams from a country that has its own national league, its own FA, and its own national team, should be playing in another country's league. Michel Platini also shares a similar view.

Of course, we all know the real reason is money, but it should be remembered how much the Welsh feel part of the union these days. Remember which anthems were played at the 2008 FA cup final? How about when England last played Wales?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

And while they're at it, perhaps they could remove Berwick from the Scottish league too.

We can allow Monaco in the French as they haven't a league of their own.

And it's a god question -- but I think I tried to answer it a few posts back.

To be topical, I suppose it's a bit like the monarchy. While it seems inconceivable that we would dream up such an idea now if we didn't have a monarchy, I suspect that all of us here are delighted that the institution exists, and we would go to great lengths -- prison, or war -- to defend the honour of the Queen. It's the history we value.

Same with Cardiff etc. If the league was being formed now, Cardiff would not be invited. But they are here for historical reasons.
