  • Spurs, Stoke and QPR to fight over Ivory Coast star - Arouna Kone

Tottenham, Stoke and QPR are battling to secure the signature of Ivory Coast striker Arouna Kone.

Kone has made a full recovery from a serious knee injury and was a star performer for Levante last season when he netted 15 goals.

The talented forward enjoyed a successive loan spell with the Spanish side and has now secured a permanent move from Sevilla.

He has signed a one-year deal with Levante, but they are expected to sell him straight away as they look to ease their financial worries.

Had a good season but managed one goal in 40 games for Seville, stats that would make even Carl Leaburn blush.

The Africa Cup of Nations could see us short of a few players if we're not very careful!!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

        2015/2016, average at best.....

        2016/2017, same old, same old....

        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Mentioned this lad a while back.

Assumed he was out of contract and wasnt aware he had already signed for Levante.

Would give him a miss and target Yakubu instead.

Proven in the premier league, around the same age and available for 1m if reports are true.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

ACON back again Jan so it don't clash with WC.

                        Pathetic.
