We were one goal away from the Championship. The future looks promising, but until we have achieved something we are not a big club. Currently we are a bottom half side. Yakubu would be a great addition to the squad. We need strength in depth and some variety. He's a proven Premier League goal scorer, stop playing the ****ing name game.

Yakubu was unwanted last season and Blackburn picked him up on deadline day, because Steve Kean had no major funds to strengthen, now not saying he had a bad season, but we have funds available, and i would rather see us try for Defoe, and maybe that forward we were linked with in italy last jan, can't remember his name but sure he had played in this country before, maybe with brum or someone similar? would have yak as back up i suppose, in front of hulse, betty, etc

I think Defoe might be slightly out or our reach, Levy will certainly not let the player go cheap.

I understand it's nice to fantasise though, after Villareal got relegated I'd love if we went in for Rossi

Agh didn't realise Rossi has suffered another injury ruling him out for 10 months. That explains why he's not been linked with anyone. Thought it was strange.

Yakubu is on the slide, we dont need to be signing another 30+ player on big wages

we have a couple of established proven strikers we should be looking to build on that with younger players with potential.
