Yes there have been a few threads about him already over the weekend, somebody put it on twitter, wouldnt surprise me but no way will we be paying €5 million for me,he was linked last summer in a €1 million move.
£5mil is a joke for him at this stage, worth closer to £2mil. Remember Cisse cost us £4mil according to reports. RSC didn't do a massive amount for Betis after christmas, started 20 games and most of them were in the 1st half of the season. Think we should look to someone younger
Would have him over that AJ fella from Foolham every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Me as well but they are very different types of strikers. Santa Cruz is without a doubt a more talented footballer, Johnson is more of a poacher and more than likely would score more goals.

Except he doesn't score goals....
I would love to see RSC and think him and Cisse could be a lethal partnership. RSC's game is not just about goals, he is more a hold up player ala Zamora, but he's a much better finisher and technically better.
Also don't forget he went to City for about £19m a couple of years ago and probably costing them about £5m a yr in wages. There was talk they may offload on the cheap for £1m in Jan, which seemed unlikely. Now there may be a few clubs wanting him it makes sense the fee will be higher, but the flipside is they will want to offload so may take a lower transfer fee.
I thikn if MH wants him, he wil get him as they have massive respect for eachother clearly. Also Mike Rigg could be a key factor.
