Would work with a front 3 with Cisse and defoe either side of Zamora...

It wouldn't be the perfect match but we can't afford to turn our noses up at the possibility of that. As much as I want it to happen I highly doubt that he'll sign for us, I just cant see it happening.

Oh god, not turning my nose up, sorry if I didn't express it very well he is a brilliant player and wd be our biggest signing since - who? - we resigned Clive Allen, or Tony Currie? Wd love him at Rangers. Just that he certainly isn't a target man and not sure that Cisse can play as one. V few matches where we will be able to play with three strikers. And as we have seen with Cisse its pointless playing a goal machine on the wings. Obviously it wd be great to have the competition and the option but still haven't got any kind of a handle on what kind of money we are going to be spending this summer - and for me one if not two centre halves is a far bigger priority, much as I wd love to strut around Loftus Rd with "Defoe" printed on the back of an Rs shirt...
