I think the home spurs game when he took a lifetime to turn when he was in the box (i looked had a chat with the bloke next to me, went to the bogs, got a cup of tea) and returned to my seat and he was still turning, if cisse had the chance it would have been quick turn and back of the net. For a centre forward with England aspirations he does have the turning circle of a barge but we do as a club tend to be attracted to signing forwards that have difficulty moving.

Hopefully with a settled team, we might see more of him but at the moment imho we need to concentrate in getting players in, that can stop teams running through us unchecked.
he was prob waiting till you got back!! so you didn't miss anything

He lacks pace, strength and his control is pretty average and yes he lacks goals

From what I have seen Helguson is a better player

I was thinking the other day that Helguson & Cisse would be very interesting. Helguson was our top goal scorer & he adds the flick on's, holding the play up very well & goals

& Cisse just scores goals & has pace. I'd love the see Cisse & Helguson up front in one of our games next season
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

          He's Bothroyd with talent.

It is amazing that all these players that came in this year including Zamora were all heralded as taking the club to a new level but all the awards went to our Championship winning players.

Had to read this twice to make sure i wasn't seeing things, like Helguson but Zamara is quicker, better control and stronger. Also brings other players into the game and is crucial to how Hughes wants to play.

Really don't understand this constant criticism of players, not every striker will score a goal every other game in fact name me one who does that doesn't cost 30 million. Football is a team game and in a team there are numerous component parts that make it flow smoothly.

                the

i still remember the destruction job hately did to qpr

back in 1995 dichio scored eight goals in eight games then the worst manager in the history of the club dropped dichio and brought in hately

as useless as hately was hes better than zamora

but i think zamora maybe a good midfield player hes certainly a good squad player

but as a striker he is useless

he cant score headers he always misses open goals

he cant score with his right foot

he cant score with his left foot

he dosnt know how to take players on and create an opening

hes emile heskey the second,a complete load of crap,as a striker

but he could be the greatest ever midfield player lets give him a chance in midfield maybe he could do a dempsey for us

but we need yacubu to partner cisse up front next season or defoe

Ted, has it ever occurred to you that if a player isn't very good it's for that reason alone, and not because they're being played in the wrong position?

We had Hulse then Bothroyd and now Zamora who have this similar style of play which is frustrating to watch as they lack playing there role which is to be a striker to get goals and not just hold up the ball well

Would be happy to see him replaced with a striker who can get goals

Helguson would do a better job than Zamora up front with Cisse imo. But Zamora has great hold up play and does very well, but Helguson can do all of this at the same time as getting goals.

Can't assume HH, at 34, will be back to his best after being brought back too early from his last operation.

But the problem is Helguson spends too much time on the treatment table.

I think QPR could have the Tevez, Aguero, Dzecko, and Messi as our forwards and somebody would find fault with em, not scored enough, can't pass, can't run, too many argies, etc etc

                                100% mate..... it's a joke.

People are saying they would rather have Helguson over Zamora?!?

Don't get me wrong HH had a brilliant start to the season, but Zamora brings so much more.

I'm convinced that unless a player scores 20 goals a season, regardless of what position he plays, people (in particular W12) will have a dig at them.
