Taiwo still may sign, he's just an addition to the squad as some said on here, strengthening us more than anything!

same as ninja...not convinced about a player who struggles to get in their carling team. lets hope we don't get evans as well.

Not overly impressed with this. May be (or have been) talented but also injury prone and still lightweight compared to his brother.

If he's a squad option then fair enough I suppose but it'd be a big step back if he's here to replace Taiwo.

Okay, so Fabio's preffered position is Left Back but he can also play Right Back or on either wing and actually started his career as a Defensive Midfielder. He is also immensely talented and somebody that Ferguson sees as a Man U first teamer for years to come. The only reason he has not progressed as quickly as his brother is that his primary position these days is held by Patrice Evra and he has been very unluckly with injuries.

If he is coming to QPR we are very lucky. My gut instinct is that he will be instead of Taiwo but there is also every chance that Hughes is signing him as somebody who could potentially start in at Right Back or in the Midfield. Anyone who can't see that this guy would be an improvement on Onuha or Young needs their head checked!

No way is he better than Taiwo (or maybe even Traore). Unless we are going to play him at right back its a poor signing imo

I hope so, but we'll see if this is true first. Will be surpsied is Fergie wants to send players to us to get first team football after how Macheda's loan went

I agree Tarbie, I think he will be a great addition. He's played for Brazil a few times so he can't be too bad. He's also played in some big games for United, like last years Champions League final.

The only one reason he started at LB is because his brother used to play at RB when they were in the youth team together. He can play either and is right footed. See him moving to RB and ohouha going into Centre back alongside anton. Think he wanted to give Nedum pre season to get used to playing at Centre Back because he mainly been playing RB over the last few years.

Good signing if true, we will wait and see. Hope it isn't so he comes a LB could cause Armard out of the club and I see so much potential in him, best crosser at the club.

Is he that good? As for Traore, I think he is better as winger as he is fast and makes really good crosses (Helguson's goal v Stoke and Mackie's goal v City). His defending isn't that good.

Also I think it looks like Luke Young future is in doubts!

Good player but hope it doesn't cast doubt on the Taiwo deal.... Want Diakite and Taiwo and now both seem in question...

Fabio and his brother have both played in midfield for Utd so he offers good versatility if true... Could play RW also.....

Strange, but maybe Tawio isn't signing it was never a done deal only an option.

There must be a reason for this and I can only think thats the case?
