Funnily enough I saw the full ruling from the FA last night I fired off an email asking when Tevez was likely to be charged and, if he wasn't, on what grounds given the refs evidence.

the linesman seems to have a clear view of the tevez incident but does nothing.

he doesn't seem to have a clear view of the barton retaliation, but flags for it nonetheless.

...can't defend barton's stupidity, but the ref accepts that tevez would also have gone if seen. is there any chance of a charge against tevez? absolutely none.

in the end it was all ok, but i can't forget that we could have ended up going down as a result of these useless decisions

They need an official watching the game in the sky/espn editing truck to rewind incidents like that straight away,and for goal line decisions!

Joey's daft, he should have gone down after Tevez hit him. 90% of players would have down that. Instead he reacts not only to Tevez but to other players. Idiot.

done that against Norwich, undoubtly cost us 3 pts, without stating the obvious MH needs to clamp down hard on the indiscipline running through the side

Begs the question if the Tevez aggression was not seen by the officials but he would have been sent off by Dean had he seen it why has it not been dealt with retrospectively by the FA.

Why would they do that exactly...? It came out in the ref's report for the hearing, before they made the verdict.

The fact is, regardless if it was provoked or retaliation or whatever, Barton shouldn't have done what he did and he's being punished for his actions. Tevez should be done also, but doubt he will be.

The FA are p*ssed off that they couldn't send us down...Expect many more stupid decisions next season! But expect us to do well, and laugh in their faces again at the end of the season.
