He was a good player, you dont get to play for Newcastle, Spurs, England etc by being "pony" whatever some newly grand fans might think. But the concern is his fitness. Last season was a wipe out but wd be interesting to know how many games he has played in, say, the last three years, and if he wasn't playing then was it because he was injured or just not in Harry's plans? Given a choice I'd also have Krancjar any day of the week but Sparky seems to prefer more physical players.

Certain clubs doesn`t fit certain players. Liverpool is often one of them(Downing). But Jenas was very good a few years ago I seem to remember. He is a riddle to me really. Could it be that his talent was wasted when he played for Spurs? Not the easiest of clubs to make it at, top five club and all that..QPR
