Its stories like this that IF TRUE make it harder and harder to like football and still more those that play it and their various hangers on and agents.

Still concerned about his discipline. How many times did he get booked during his time with us.? Don't really understand the 10 games. Think this was put in by QPR. If he did not play 1) because he wasn't good enough or 2) he got injured, then they would not have wanted to sign him.

**** him. If he chooses to sit on the sidelines all dressed up like a poofter because of that then he doesn't deserve to pull the shirt on again.

Go and enjoy yourself playing for the Gooner stiffs.......

What stories? There is nothing apart from the words of some pretty deluded QPR fans. Somehow without one piece of evidence, Samba refused to play those last games but noone in the club decided to say anything about it.

There are several different possibilities, and apart from the stated virus, none are particularly edifying.

It may just be coincidence, but it does appear suspicious that playing one more game would have triggered an automatic deal, and he failed to play that game.

There's enough previous in the world of football, to reasonably speculate that it may not be as clear cut as was suggested by the club.

We're all very touchy about this, as he appeared to be turning into one of the most exciting midfielders I've seen at Rangers for a long while, and after being so confident that he would sign, news like this morning is very disappointing.

did you bother to read this before labeling your fellow fans deluded?
Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

It clearly states his reps want to test the water with other prem clubs.

Maybe you were the wrong poster to single out but i was referring to people saying that Diakite somehow intentionally missed games so that he didnt have to move. The article is generally positive about Samba signing for the club.

Even if an automatic deal was made with the 10th game, Samba cant be forced to sign a contract with QPR so it makes no difference. All that matters is the fee we agreed with Nancy and the article states that Nancy are still happy to sell at that amount.

                        My sentiments exactly....

Or, he really did have a mystery virus...
I suspect that after 5-6 games he was spotted and will end up going to a bigger club... Maybe said club will chuck us a bone... He could go to Spuds or Gooners and we get a choice of their fringe players or hasbeens... Be delighted but surprised if he joins us....

well, it speculates that his reps may test the water, but to be fair it also says:

"Diakité has made plain his desire to join QPR rather than a switch to Marseille or Lyon when he was made available by Nancy."

                          and

"A source close to Nancy said: “The club are happy to sell Diakité to QPR for the agreed amount.""

Wasn't Harry Redknapp rumoured to be watching him?

                            Sure I read that somewhere.

Bloody hell people. He did well for us yea, but he's not exactly Djibril Cisse now is he. If he signs for us, then great. If he wants to join another club then that's fair enough. We will sign someone else just as good i'm sure
