That's virtually one third of next season but to my mind still not enough.Should have been more like 12 months than 12 games.Given his past reputation,the importance of the game at the Etihad with an audience of hundreds of millions (perhaps that's why he chose to do what he did), what it does to the image of QPR, and the fact that his actions could well have sent us down (which must have crossed even his pea brain when he did the walk of shame),I'll personally be glad to see the back of him if TF/MH can get shot of him.

FA hand Barton 12-match ban
The FA have handed Joey Barton a 12-match ban and fined him £75,000 for his red card and subsequent actions in Queens Park Rangers' 3-2 defeat against Manchester City.
The 29-year-old midfielder was sent off for elbowing Carlos Tevez but later appeared to kick out at Sergio Aguero and attempted to head butt Vincent Kompany.
