10-12 match ban easily so we can count on him not being around for a while.

I'm not convinced he's 'fully' supported by the dressing room.
Just ask Adel, or Jamie or Shaun. Or Warnock.
How many other players of ours did you see protesting on behalf of Joey when he lost it at City ? None !
How many do you think appreciate his squealing attempt to deflect some flak by suggesting one of his team mates told him to do it ?.....
To be honest as time heals, I'm no longer quite so desperate for him to leave our club. That would still be nice, but as a ****ter, he thrives on attention.
He won't get that from me.
If he plays, he gets my support as part of a QPR team.
If he Scores, I will celebrate. If he assists, ditto. If he makes a good tackle or is seen to try and not give the ball away more than any other Premiership footballer and keep his cool. I will try to change my opinion of him.
But that will take alot of convincing.
Meanwhile, I truly hope someone else is Captain next season, Anton or Faurlin or Diakite, or Cisse, who cares......and also he should be fined for every game he misses, or it should be suggested that he donate some of his 'feet up' earnings to charity.
Just my opninion of course.

He will obviously get a ban as he himself expected to but he will be back next season and if he puts in some displays like he did towards the end of this season then we will be a better team for it. He is well liked in the dressing room and if it had been anyone of the other players who did what he did would there be the media craziness? He wears a rangers shirt and i will back him and its embarrassing that you will not. Bunch of Tarquins embarrassing
Barton's sending offs have not been for the good of the team, we lost both games in which he was sent off. More points were lost as a result of the ban. Was that for the good of the team? You are happy with that? You want him to do it again?
You were happy with the dive that saw Derry sent off and resulted in a penalty against us? That's the type of football you are advocating. Is that really what you want? You'd be happy for us to play that way?
You are comfortable with the morality of deliberately injuring people? You cheered when Mackie broke his leg did you. Shouted 'well played'. Want our players to do the same?
You applauded John Terry's knee in the back? Because Barton cravenly did the same. You'd like the same thing to happen at Loftus Road every week?
It's you and your mates who are the sheep; 'well done Joey', 'anything you say Joey', 'whatever you want Joey', 'just carry on as before Joey', ad nauseum. It makes me sick.
Get a grip, let's not rejoice in the behaviour of the sewer, football is a beautiful game, let's play it beautifully, then we can take genuine pride in our team.
You want our players to cheat more

my worry is that if he misses, say, 2 months of the season, and we continue to pay him, say, the 80k a week he is alleged to be earning.....that is disastrous for our club financially. surely we have some mechanism if that happens for us to dock his wages for the time he is out?
that would equate to me punching a customer in the face and then getting suspended from work on full pay for a couple of months. in reality work would just dismiss me, end of, or suspend me and dock my pay.....which under the circumstances i would completely understand.
duncscome on you r's!

I really hope he does. But it won't make 1 iota of difference.
And the sheep are the ones who follow his every word on twitter.
Sycophants who'd rather read about someone having a life than actually having one themselves.
He probably cost us 6 points this season, it's only for the grace of Chris Foy/Peter Crouch that he didn't cost us Relegation.
And if that's not factual enough, he's the player who's conceeded possession the most out of the entire Premiership - Something like 491 times ?
