Anyway between them they kept us in the prem, NW will go down in history as one of our best managers, imo for the job he did here, and now hopefully MH will be hot on his heels' but just surviving won't do it for me he has to win something, or qualify for Europe, which given time and backing could happen

      oh right fair point

All of a sudden those 3 away wins aren't looking so great are they Neil?
You can make stats say what you want them too, but these stats are bottom line unargueable figures that clearly show Hughes improvement on Warnock.

Tbh, the more time goes on since NW left the more I am beginning to dislike him. Hes a QPR legend (and yes I know that word is banded about easily) for taking us up in the circumstances he did. But he just seems so bitter, he needs to move on and continue with his own career without trying to grab the media headlines with his talk on QPR.

At the time I was disappointed NW left tbh, but its become quite clear, to me anyway, that we are in far far better hands with Sparkie than we ever would be with NW.

Cheers for everything but please shut up now and get on with your job at Leeds.

I find it hard to say a bad word about Warnock but thats what he needs to do.

To be fair this is classic Warnock, talking out his ass but amusing all the same, which is one of the reasons why he's such a good character to have in football. He seemed more mellow when he was with us though.

I'll always have massive respect for his achievements in getting us promoted. Not even the most optimistic fan would have thought we could have won the league that season.

It would be great to get drawn against Leeds in the cup next year.

Would of shown a lot more class by simply congratulating TF.

Warnock would of took us down, of that I am certain.

Typical Warnock no class, has to keep having sly digs, always has to be fair. Look at Hughes and how he carries himself, top class manager and was a top class player.

I love that, Warnock is a great man and did not at all deserve to be sacked in January. Hughes away tactics were pathetic. But hey, that's all in the past now and i'm glad Hughes is our manager.

At least he picked the right club to beat at home, but a few more home wins in autumn and he would probably still have been here.

I am the biggest fan of Warnock for what he has done, forever a legend, but in hinsight I agree that we probably needed a bigger name manager to attract bigger name players.

Like Warnock and like Hughes... and like Fernandez
                      I do Agree with you.

But if you pay attention to what Anton Ferdinand wrote on the article pasted above, he stated that when Hughes took over the team gained the kind of composure they seemed to lack under Warnock and his regime().

Bottomline: I dont think it was the best of decisions of Warnock to go that often to Cornwall and let Curle @ Co lead the training sessions on their own.

I've only just read that article. NW will always be fondly remembered for what he did, but blimey give it a rest man. That quote is laughable all things considered, specifically only 1 unbelievably lucky win at home in half a season.....

Keep walking Neil, get over it and Concentrate on your own fu$%ing job.

I'm sure Ken Bates isn't too impressed with his apparent obsession with QPR either.

Thats why the man is loathed in football circles, he cant let anything go. He has to keep digging at players or refs or linesman or chairman, never will he take the blame for anything its always someone else's fault, the man has no class.
