If we still had Flavio then we would be playing in Europe :yush:
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

We then created a massive shock and they all thought they'd blown it due to our stuborness and grafting. Their fans were in pieces, smashing seats and balling their eyes out and players were distraught thinking they'd lost it....

The final few mins is irrelevant. They didn't want a day like that and the stress levels must've gone through the roof..... so after all that you honestly thin kthey review the situation and think, good old QPR, they did us a real favour... let's give them some of our players on the cheap!

      Hehe, I like this one.
AND yes, we have to do a bit of rethinking regarding our club´s new won status.

So we will have 4 top centre-mids?

        Diakite, Barton, Faurlin, De Jong

If so i'd get rid of one, that would be Barton. But then which two would start!?

At the end of the day it's highly unlikely but he does want first team football and if we don't buy a ticket we'll never win a raffle. Glad we're giving it a go.
          Well put mate.

No doubt. For what it's worth De Jong is my dream signing, one of the best DMs in the world.

QPR boss Mark Hughes wants to be reunited with Nigel de Jong this summer.

Hughes was in charge at Man City when he signed the Dutch midfield hardman in January 2009 for Ł18million from Hamburg.

De Jong has since made 135 appearances for City - including 21 this season as they won the Premier League.

But De Jong was only a sub in City’s last four matches of the season and his contract is up next summer.

The Dutch ace can expect to find competition even stiffer next term with boss Roberto Mancini set to strengthen again.

That has alerted Hughes at Loftus Road who has cash to spend after keeping Rangers up.

                    Chelsea or QPR?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Barton will be banned for at least 2 months so that leaves 3,and Faurlin will take some time to be match fit so that leaves 2,and Diakite has not signed yet so that leaves one and the bleeding obvious one,De Jong is extremely unlikely to join us so that leaves none.

I understand from that a deal for De Kong was done in injury time at the Etihad. Tony turned to the Man City owners and told them that we would let them win if we could have De Jong on a free....

                            right answer, wrong question.

Financial priority needs to be given to a quality centre back. Next, a sound keeper. Finally a young striker with some genuine pace.

Midfield is not the main issue, and the obvious problems would not be addressed by this signing.
