Surprised no one has yet mentioned the legend that is Jamie Pollock. Remember a group of QPR fans thanked him by voting him the "most influential man of the past 2,000 years" in an internet poll, where "Jesus came second", apparently.

Gordon Hill-He turned my attention to QPR when he signed for us.As some may know; He was a part of the legendary Coppel-Stuart Pearson-Jimmy Greenhoff-Gordon Hill forwardline at that time. Make no mistake,I was not interested in Man U as a club as such. But, neverteless, what a pity that he was crippeling injured when(?) he arrived Loftus Road. After that, He was never the same wizard with the ball like he once was. But in the end, for me he was a door-opener to this club. That´s what matters some many years after his short and almost unnoticed spell with us.

Clive Allen- The dawn of a new area personalized.

Stan Bowles- The man and the myth.

Olli - His life in general is worth more attention than what so many profiles in sport get.

      Neil Warnock
      - Our saviour when we faced relegation.

Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

I've chosen two from each decade that I've supported the R's except for the current one

60's - Les Allen and Rodney Marsh
70's - Gerry Francis and Stan Bowles
80's - Glen Roeder and Clive Allen
90's - Les Ferdinand and Simon Barker
00's - Kevin Gallen and Paul Furlong

All these are worthy players but true legends of this club possibly not. The only definite legends would be Rodney, Stan and Sir Les

there can only be one stan bowles, yes we have had some great players but none had the charisma , skill, temperament , flamboyance and attitude of stan he could score all sorts of goals from all angles i would love his song as a boy (id walk a million miles for one of your goals oh stanlee ) a special mention to bircham just because he loves the hoops

never in the legend status. done a decent job-neat and tidy. tried to play a bit of a hard man role but was far from it infact was more sneaky than anything. melted against hughes once and macca had to come to the rescue.

stan bowles is my all time hero-numbero uno for me.
sir les-local boy done good-loved the fella. what a player.
alan mcdonald-no harder player to don the shirt. great defender who took no prisoners.
gerry francis-an england captain-top player. he returned and produced one of the most exciting teams in the old div1/prem-we played some lovely football during that period.
my old man said to include rodney. never seen him play but having read all about him and getting minute by minute replays off me dad i have to throw him in.
