Almost impossible to name 5 from the great servants we have had over the years. Interesting to see younger fans selections as they have limited knowledge ... if I had to name 5, then the first 2 would be Rodney Marsh and Stan Bowles without a doubt.
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

Jan Stejskal - Overshadowed a bit by David Seaman before front of him -Solid
Danny Maddix - Had some amazing games and kept some top strikers quiet - doesn't get enough recognition
Trevor Sinclair - Some great performances and that goal
Clive Wilson - Biggest crime he didn't play for England
Adel Taarabt - Last season some stand out performances, made me think of when my dad would talk of Stan Bowles

i respect your opinion mate and your right to choose who can be a legend to you but im sure your dad would agree that Adel has got a long, long way to go before he could ever even lace Stanleys boots up let alone anything else.

the reason why i said Adel was that watching him last season made me feel like how my Dad must of felt watching Bowles never said he was in same league or better. I missed some others of that list that I would put before Adel due to their service for the club. Sir Les, Andy Sinton, the Brev ect. Just put Adel there for the reason I stated.

Anyway to hard to choose 5. Maybe a better thread would be a team of 11 with subs
