This is the headline in the Irish Independent (where I am at the moment). Given was apparently very upset when Hughes left Manchester City and has indicated he would like a reunion. At the moment he has an injury which he picked up in training. The Independent also says that Kenny is likely to reunited with Warnock.

I thought while a club don't have a manager the players have to wait to see who is manager & then the manager decides what he wants to do?Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Cant see it but if there's any chance we should get him as he'd be worth 10 points in a season.#standuptocancer

Back to Given.... put it this way, if he wasn't in their team this season, they would now be heading into the championship i have no doubt. When you put it like that, the fee and 5 year deal he got would seem small change.
