It's amazing how different fans see things as Paddy and Vine didn't excite me in the slightest whereas Balanta did.
    Agyemang poor?

Well from what i saw he got to the ball and bought it down all the time with nice touches. Also swang in a cross for Vine which he should have scored from. A lot better than what helguson did.

Routledge was playing to catch the eye yesterday, I thought he was our best player, skinned his man on multiple occasions got to the line and laid one on a plate for helgesun

you can ask for much more, our strikers cant finish what he starts, he got back ok on most occasions I recall
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Agree, routledge was a better player than some gave credit for. Not our best but contributed a lot.

And Cait, doing a lot more than Heider is hardly an accolaide. I think Cerny worked harder than him and he was a spectator for most of the game.

Routledge I still don't understand the hype over him at all. I thought he wasn't good at all yesterday. Infuriating is the word along with Tarrabt and Helguson.

Balanta was okay but I still don't think he should be in the starting line up.

i thought routledge did ok when cutting inside but i dont think he had the beating of the left back too much yesterday and the same goes for balanta, however routledge altho didnt play well, was better than balanta. but one bad game, i dont think he should be left out next game. hows he ever gonna get the confidence, he needs a run - im sure he'll come good

Routledge was very good and I can't see how people feel differently.

The more I think about yesterday, the more annoyed I am with Heider's contribution. I don't think I've ever seen a worse individual performance from a Rangers player.

Well we obviously see a different game and I didn't think Routledge was THAT good. Overated is the word for him.

                            Let's not overdo it.

Benny - I am with you. I am not saying Routledge was out of this world yesterday, but i thought he looked a constant threat when he had the ball, he must have had the most assists for chances yesterday - i dont remeber Balanta beating his full back once and he kept on cutting inside - never went outside the full back. Rightly taken off

                                Over rated?

Since he joined us he's not come up against a full back able to comfortably deal with him. Last season his hard work came to nothing as there were no strikers running into the box to support him. Yesterday he played below his usual standard but there were also moments of brilliance from him. That moment when he roasted their full back then sold him by cutting back in the box before laying off to Aggy who annoyingly snapped at it was awesome and deserved a better finish.
