Even after just 1 game you can see the squad of players we have is much more suited to a 433 or 451 formation, but as the Chairman and QBP have declared this a sackable offence, we will be left with the bench every week being far more talented than the starting 11.

As Sousa quite rightly identified, we have a wealth of talented midfielders, and while the club refuse to buy a quality forward(s), we should be playing our best players in a system that will hurt the opposition.

What we dont need is our best players coming on after 60 mins with massive pressure from the fans to produce some magic, against teams who are sitting back. You could see Buzz going for it yesterday after he came on, and after his yellow card we we're all thinking he was gonna get sent off.

Stop that heresy - one up front at home; some will 'ave you in you carry on with such fanciful claptrap.

Seriously, spot on. We have the personnel for one up front in every position other than up front. Buzsacky / Tarrabt / Balanta wasted out wide - behind a front man is where they should be.

Also allows the use of a holding midfielder, which we needed to protect our defence AND goalkeeper (who needs protection, believe me).

But, Flavio, who knows jack all about football, says 4-4-2 it must be. Oh, and he isn't interfering in football matters, oh no!

I have to agree aswell i think 451 is the way to go,its quite clear our strikers are poor,helguson was my only hope of getting the goals regulary and agy is hit and miss and vine is a provider.If we go 451 we can play the talent we have! you have to play to your strengh and midfield it is, just think routledge,buszaky.rowlands,vine with mahon holding with more quality midfielders if they dont perform on bench.I wish we could play 442 but until we buy decent strikers id say forget it,i hope jim proves me wrong i so want premiership football
