Some people are so obsessed with Chelsea here (and some of them don't know why, except they know we are vaguely local and are desperate to sound die hard)...that they don't realise we should be laughing very loudly at Luton and not worrying about Chelsea's fluke.
To me it seems like we have been relegated this weekend.
I could be wrong, but I thought we finished above Bolton after our match against Man. City ?:pleasantsuprise::pleasantsuprise:
luton is more an off field rivalry, when our respective supporters get together, our competitive streak comes into play. and it wouldnt be any surprise to see both sets of supporters standing on street corners playing, nearest penny to the wall, pin the tail on the donkey, and a personnal favourite of mine drainnies, when you have to get your marble onto the same lane as their marble, this is normally followed up with a game of hide and seek.where would you find such like minded rivals as our diddy coy cousins.
luton away night games wasnt much to do with football the locals would come out until they played that lot from bermondsey they have never been seen since
It wasn't just Bermondsey that night, it was London United.
I remember prominant LSA members asking if I was going 2 weeks before THAT infamous night. And yes I was there !
Chelsea,Fulham & Brentford may be our geographical rivals, but Luton (and Watford) are fun games for us. We've played both more often than any other teams competatively and until recently they were games to look forward to instead of Chelsea & Fulham.
And there but for the grace of God.....oh and **** 'em.
