I still haven't hit the ground after staying up last week, my question to you is, is this the best time ever to support QPR?
We had the most amazing run of results at the end of the season in which was deemed as relegation by a whole load of people on the TV & even our own fans.
We've got some real class players already at this football club, & we've got the summer to sign more players which it sounds like Tony will do to make this squad stronger.
We've got a manager who's teams are hard to break down & he's only ever left clubs in a better state, he's also well known for signing big players to football clubs like Kompany, Dembele, Chris Samba & many more.
We've got a clear plan set out. Short term stay up, done. medium term get a new training ground, being done now. Long term a new ground. And Tony Fernandes said that success to him next season is 16th so there clearly is no major pressure for Mark Hughes which can only be positive.
I already highlighted on the training ground but by the sounds of it we're going to have a training ground that would be good enough for any team in this league (Inlcuding the big guns) & also a grade 1 youth team academy, could you picture QPR bringing up the likes of Defoe, Beckham, Rooney, Gerrard etc! - As Tony says, the building blocks are in place
We're Premier League. & this will help attract the younger fans & fans from abroad (Especially from Malaysia & India because of Tony & Amit)
And then look at all these great names that are at our football club right now, Mark Hughes, Amit, The Mittals, Jamie Mackie ( :=B: ), Tony Fernandes, Phillip Beard, Mike Rigg.
Tony Fernandes isn't all talk, he's the real deal & a bit of a god sent for a football club, i'm not sure about you but I never thought QPR were going to be a major force one day, but with a training ground, new ground & the right men in charge I really believe that short term is going to be enjoyable being maybe midtable & being on cup runs, mixed with beating the big teams & long term we may have a club that will compeat in the top half of the table every season competitively. It's very exciting times to support QPR right now, so is this the best time ever to support QPR?
