For all the same reasons but the 75/76 season and everything about the Bowles era are still unbeatable if you ask me.
    Queens Park Rangers
    NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

1975/76 was about 100 times better in terms of results and supporting a team full of flair and ability. Just about every player in that team was top class. Apart from Cisse and Taarabt I don't think the present team is more than bottom third PL.

When Les Ferdinand was at his best was also a good time for QPR.

When we merged with Wasps seemed like a very positive time full of promise of better days ahead, but it was a false dawn, as now may turn out to be, who knows.

Interesting poll results, looks like it depends what year you were born in. I'm only 18 so i've never seen a better time supporting QPR
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Every decade in the last 50 years produced magic moments. 60's winning the FL Cup, 3rd Div Champions and getting to the 1st Division (Premier) for the first time. The seventies were the golden years.....nearly clinching the 1st Div (Premier) title and competing successfully in Europe for the first time. The eighties saw QPR playing the first ever FA Cup final; another League Cup final and winning the 2nd Division championship. We even competed in the UEFA Cup after finished 5th in the old 1st Div.
Then the nineties and QPR are founder members of the Premier league! The era of Gerry Francis as Manager and the likes of Les Ferdinand, Kevin Gallen, Andy Sinton, Trevor Sinclair and much much more. Unfortunately, we lost our Premier status during the nineties, which we recoved last season. The first 10 years of the new millenium were not so brilliant, but we still managed to win promotion from Div 2 and establish ourselves in the Championship.
And the start of the next 10 years of the new millenium.....should I remind anyone? Its so fresh. So proud to be an R.
