  • Neil Warnock defends record at former club QPR

Not sure if already posted but check this out.

Neil Warnock says QPR would have finished in the top half of the Premier League had the club given him money to spend before the season started.
Warnock led Rangers to the top flight in 2011 but was sacked in January after a winless run of eight league games.

"I more than played my part in QPR staying up," Warnock told BBC Sport.

“I'm very proud I managed to take QPR back into the Premier League [but] disappointed I didn't get £14m to spend in January”

"My contribution was to win three away games which helped no end to keep QPR where they are.

"I felt we were the better of the three teams that went up and if we had done business last summer we would have been in the top half of the table, quite easily."

I agree with everything he said there, not sure about top half, but we would have done better if he had the money to spend.

Definitely played his part in helping us stay up, don't have a problem with him claiming that, was a good servant to this club and should be remembered fondly.( Ducks for cover in case Hitman is about)
Mark Hughes has won me over now though have to admit, keeping us up by doing it in our hardest run of games, totally awesome, and always exudes an air of confidence, total control just don't want to be down there from next february onwards thanks.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh for the love of god, does this man ever stop spouting crap?

before transer deadline day, this nob spent money on 6 players, 2.5 mil on swp. reported 5 mil on ferdinand, 4mil signing on fee for joey barton, 1.5 mil on luke young. dj cambell 1 mil, trorae 1.5 mil along with gbbidon, peron, dyer, bothroyd
tht is total of 10 PLAYERS THAT HE HAS SIGNED WITH A COMBINED TOTAL WORTH OF 16.5 MILLION!!!!!!

that deluded p.r.i.c.k is so up himself its untrue.

hughes spent 8 mil on two strikers along with 2 loans with only 1 week more in the january mrket than what warnkock had in the summer and he has achieved better results with one month less incharge than what warnkock had.

        JUST GO WARNKOCK, JUST GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

maybe but him claiming to be a major part of our sucess in staying up comment is an insult to me and i hold him in contempt for saying that, the man will do and say anything along with clinging onto our coat tails in claiming that it was because of him that we stayed up. wht kep us up and what was the signing of the season is MARK HUGHES along with the players and staff who played and was coached into a proper and organised unit.

it was not the morning jd and vodka parties of keith curle, or the admiring of the opposition subs bench before and after each game, not the publicly humiliation of key players such as furlian, tarrabt, and torrae, not the hunting down of fans on match of the day and waving fans email adresses on national tv. not the comments such as "just happy to be here" or "we go out and enjoy the occasion"

a few words for warnkock, stop clinging on to our sucsessful coattails of staying up and F off.

Think it's time to move on too hitman, and that's coming from a warnock fan. Just think he wanted one last word on it seeing as we stayed up, will always be grateful to him for what he did, including in the prem the 3 away wins and chelsea home win, without those points we wouldn't have stayed up, but hopefully now the new era can start properly this summer. Thanks for the 18 month ride NW it was exciting!! Good luck with Leeds

I can't disagree to much with any of the points you've raised here but Warnock definitely deserves a lot more respect than you are giving him. He did a great job for us for 18 months but unfortunately was out of his depth in the Premier League.
