      Agreed, wouldnt mind both tbh

Would imagine a lot of teams will be in for Hoilett.

Yeah he will be the bargain of the summer by the looks of it- no doubt Spurs will be sniffing round as usual.

Hope we can get him though.

In years gone by we would of had no chance competing with the big boys for certain players.

          But now, why not

There will be clubs sniffing Hoilett, but it just depends on whether he wants to continue his progress by playing week in week out, or if he'd be content picking up money to sit on the bench (if even in a matchday squad) at a big club.

Just look at options for him, if they were interested....

Man City - Johnson can't get in some squads, Tevez, Nasri, Silva occupy such positions behind the front man, and expect they'll add to this list... why go there?

Man Utd - Valencia, Nani, Young, Wellbeck, Rooney, Giggs occupy the wide positions of a front 3 or 4 in 442, why go there.

Spurs - Bale and Lennon in the first team, Modric, VDV also sometimes occupy wide positions... possible, but not guaranteed a start.

Arsenal - Walcott, Oxlaide Chamberlain don't always start, so would Hoilett... i doubt it.

Liverpool - Downing is probably the only proper wide player they have so possible.

Other than that, why wouldn't we have a chance as a building club on the up and eeveryone in football will see that and won't expect us to be fighting relegation next year, and more importantly he'd play most games.

Its a possibility as any that he may come.

I would never had thought Cisse would had joined us but he did.

1 or 2 from Man City plus 1 or 2 from Blackburn, plus 1 or 2 from Wigan, plus 1 or 2 from Europe, plus 1 or 2 from Argentina or brasil
I think top priority must be to keep Taiwo and Diakite

Martin Petrov is not a bad option as left winger with Traore behind him and Taiwo behind Traore or other way around. Then Adel can play at the centre of the midfield

With the Hughes connection really think this could happen - the board clearly are not being put off by paying high wages so you never know. Anyway by the time we'ved cleared the decks of all the deadwood will have millions in the pot to spend:drunk:

Johnson is a hard no nonsense defender. I reckon Hughes and Barton can keep him in check, when hes on his game hes mustard
