Berbatov is a very clever and technically excellent player, who would i'm sure compliment Cisse perfectly. That said i don't think in a million years we'll be getting a striker of his standing ahead of other teams. Don't forget he was prem top scorer last season (or was it year before?) and they bought him for about £30m.
As for Owen, i can't see it. Firstly i doubt his injury record would fill MH with encouragement, and secondly he has stables up north and that is his real passion now so will not come south imo.

I respect you opinion-but not many of our players managed to keep the ball for more than the odd second during that match.
Just my take at it.
If we want a better player on the right(played there for most parts of the season) I´d go for Victor Moses!!QPR

Owen said about a year ago, he would only go to a top flight side and not demean himself by finishing in the lower leagues. Okay, we are not in a lower league but he has some delusion that he can still hack it at the best - despite stats proving otherwise - and we may not be worthy of him.
Good and useful player when fit but think there are more determined and committed players than this mercenary out there.
