In Greece he scored nearly a goal a game over 2 seasons. Some will say it was only Greece, but it makes no difference once you're beyond the defence and have to bury a chance. He is ruthless in front of goal.

In Lazio he was played as a winger so not relevant, but his record before Greece was also good.

As said it's all about perception and interpretation. On current form it's hard to argue.

But i think it's more relevant to say he's a world class finisher, but not a world class striker as his all round game is somehwat lacking compared to the really top players.

If you wanted to be really pedantic and flip the coin, you could say you can't gauge the others until they've played for a poor team in a relegation scrap who create next to nothing.

He will bang in a few goals for us next season, of that I have no doubt.
Best striker we've had in a Hell of a long while.
        Exactly this...

Defo rate him but not world class, I couldn't be happier though with the goals he's scored, taken like a real striker and deadly finishing.
He has paid back just like he said he would, I remember the interview just after the stoke game when he was asked if he felt he had repaid us after his sending offs to which he replied No, if we stay up and I score against city I will then.
Well he has done so what more can anyone want or say?

There's a bit of Sir Les about him. Give him a chance and he puts the ball away. Not sure about world class, but certainly a very good player.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

My personal opinion is that he is a top top player (his record for us shows this!). He only needs half a sniff of goal and he will, a majority if the time, put the ball in the net.

Not sure he is quite "world class" though as, for me, this term should only be used for the top handful of players in their position in the world, ie: David Villa, Wayne Rooney, Mario Gomez etc.

No doubt about Cisse's ability though, by far the best striker weve had at Rangers in my short memory!

Im 21 mate so he was around in my lifetime but I cant remember him playing tbh. He left the season I went to my first game (1995) so Id purely be going on reputation if I said he was the best, without actually using me old experiences as I was only 4 then.

No doubting he was an incredible player for us though.

I'm old enough to be your dad so,he was playing for us in my 20s,best striker I've actually seen play at a game at loftus rd,do remember Francis,Givens and Marsh as a child and loved the Allen/ Goddard partnership during my late teens.

The phrase World Class is used so cheaply in my opinion. I listen to the experts on the radio talking about England's World Class players and think, who are they then?
The truest description of Cisse is that he is a high class player and a truly great finisher. His goals to shots ration in his brief spell with us must be stunning because he doesn't seem to have had that many chances.
For the record, Les was never World Class but was a great player by the time we sold him to the Toon. Remember, at first he was very very ordinary and got loaned out to learn his trade.
Cisse will go through a spell next season where he's not scoring for fun and the question is, will people get on his back and will he come through it to show how good he really is.
I say his career record suggests he is a very good striker, capable of playing at the highest level, but World Class should be reserved for the true greats of the game.

Only world class players England currently have, IMO, are Hart & Rooney. Maybe Cashley can be included tbf, hate the little $hit, but not many better LBs around.

Agree with Blue hoops comments and the above. AS i highlighted earlier though it's all about interpretation of what defines WC, but it is bandied around far too easy. IMO, Cisse is a world class finisher, but not a world class striker as his overall game is lacking compared to the very very best.

AS for England players, agree with Rooney, Hart and Cole, but would also have to include Gerrard, and in his day Scholes.
