Remember when that useless twunt Terry slipped, missed his penalty and the shabby neighbours lost their shot at the Champions league? That was a joyous time indeed and I laughed for days. Now, call me deluded, but even before they got to that final and obviously before we got promoted but had the new generation on board (not then knowing how badly it would go at first) I had boldly predicted that we would win a Champions League Final before that lot.

I got ribbed by my son when they reached the final that year but smugly told him at the moment of Terry's miss that it was written in the stars - my prediction would come through.
