  • It would have been do different.

Without the extra time being played due to Joeys sending off we would have ended our game around the same time as Boltons so our players would not have eased there foot off the pedal knowing they were safe.
For this reason I do not think City would have scored those two final goals.

I suppose there is also the argument though that without Joeys bust up there would have been no need for the substitution bring Traore on and the formation change which led to the Mackie goal so who really do city have to thank?

Look at this: Joey Barton created the time wasting and sending off = substitution & goal etc. (Not that I condone his behaviour on the pitch) Also creating the very important added time for city

Add to this the fact that our coaching team on the bench started to jump around punching the air with the news from Stoke when it was 2-2. This would have distracted some players, who would have passed the news around, players then get out of position, lose markers etc. For example, it was Onouha trying to block Aguero and he was our RB, where was Taiwo and either CB's?

Also, only 10 men, so had to work 10% harder, and with 5 mins of injury time they were knackered

Yeah i'm a bit gutted we didn't hold on for at least the draw as we fully deserved to get something from the match.

I also think word had filtered onto the pitch and they juts lost concentration, which is all it took. Before the other game finished we were sooooo disciplined and organised and never out of position, yet for the 3rd goal Aguero broke through a large gap and there was also a man free to the right in loads of space he could've passed to.

There´s no need for us to play 11 men from the start again. (Gloat, gloat)

When we beat Chelsea 1-0 at HQ the focus of the press coverage seemed to be on the 'heroic' way Chelsea played when they were down to 9, yet they never scored a goal, let alone took the lead. When we're away at the soon to be champions who haven't lost at their place for over a year and we're actually winning the game at 90 minutes with 10 men for most of the 2nd half, not a diddly squat in the press about our performance. (JB excepted).

Let's just be thankful we're still here

Just think how the world would feel if Bolton had scored from that late corner

they didn't so what a wonderful world

I try to remind myself of this and you're right, all of us would have taken survival no matter how it was achieved! The problem I have is what has been mentioned, we've got no respect in the press for almost pulling off the most shocking result in EPL history!

Couldn't agree more. Not a dicky bird other than Bartons behaviour.
