Ted, Ted, Ted, you really are a tube old boy.. Zamora is probably one of the best strikers this club has had since sir Les. He is playing up front ON HIS OWN most of the time, as most have said , he has never been a prolific goal getter , he takes care of defenders and as a front man would be a dream to play along side. Whats the next question you old nutter Rodney Marsh was he all that??

for a hold up striker i would say he is one of the best in the prem, for the way we play he does an outstanding job to hold the ball to wait for the other 9 players on the pitch to stop sitting on the edge of the box and catch up with him. he doesn't score much but that wasn't why he was bought in, that's why cisse was purchased, Zamora's done his job game in and game out even if he doesn't look like he's enjoying it he has still done what was asked of him. we've been a better team since his arrival up top and we've looked like scoring. he has also begun to bring the best out of taarabt in the same way helguson did last year by creating space for him.

no one on here really wanted him at Qpr before he's sign for us but we were kinda desperate for a striker at the time, so we accepted him..

I hope when we get some new players in it will help BZ to find his old form

he use to bang in goals for fulham, would be nice if he can get us at least 15 goals next season at least

he has not always played upfront on his own at Qpr but he does play better at 442 rather than playing as a lone striker.

now this season is over, we should get some new players in and hopfully better players who might create more chances for BZ to score

I think you'll find he has had two prolific years ( for goals) one year with Brighton and a season with Fulham, he is not a 15/20 goal a season front man, what he does is makes it hard for defenders and creates goals for people around him, if we get 10 from BZ next year and 15/20 from Cisse thats a very good return .

Jesus, I can't belive some crape I read. Zamora has played well and set up goals etc. He should have scored against Stoke if JB had passed etc. Deserves better than this critism.

After reading nearly 3 pages of response it seems our man Ted is very much in the minority in his opinion of Bobby! FWIW I thought he did a very good job of what he was asked to do, lacked some finishing at times but that happens with any striker!

Alan Wilkes and Steve Slade were much worse.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Good player puts himself about and gives centre backs a battle for 90 mins. Another pointless ted thread.
