All you read about in the press is City, City bloody City and how wonderful they were. Hardly a word about how magnificent we played with ten men and leading at full time against the so called "cream of football!!!"

Oh well. We should have held on and been party poopers then all we would be hearing about is QPR :-)

Funny game ,

we held them for 93 minutes mostly for ten men in the second half

they did not have a clue, fans crying streaming out the ground,

they got over the line by a whisker and they are a team of legends FFS


Andy gray did praise us on talk sport monday morning with our heroic performance and defendinig other than that sweet f@ck all..............

they all forgot it takes two teams to have a game ................

We were part of the biggest day in their history, I think they have lot to thank us for as without us knowing the Bolton result we would definitely have spoiled their party.
All they had to do was put it in the net twice in the time left (surely not that difficult for their megastars) there was no real effort from us after we knew we were safe.
They were thrown a lifeline.

Also think about it, without Joeys sending off etc there would not have been so much injury time (due to the game being delayed), therefore our game would have ended around the same time as Boltons, so not knowing that result would we have allowed those two city goals. I don't think so.
