Del Piero: 'I want to play in England'

Arsenal, Tottenham and QPR have been put on red alert after Italian legend Alessandro Del Piero revealed he would love the chance to play in England.

Del Piero, 37, is set end his memorable 19-year association with Juventus after helping them win the Serie A title this season.

The experienced forward has no intentions of hanging up his boots, however, and still believes he can compete at the highest level.

Too old we've had enough mercenaries at our club recently? youth and tried & trusted is the way to go, he's just looking for one last big pay day, why waste maybe £40-£50 Grand a week on a 37 year old but he prob wants more than that anyway?
