looked completely mental. Glad we were standing. I was too emotionally drained to celebrate on the sofa

Fair play to them, although it wasn't as good as ours yesterday but it was the biggest game in our history after all.

As soon as you said 2000 away fans, evening kick off and live TV game in the same sentence I knew you were telling porkies.

Evening game on the box up north for Fulham = 500 fans max (im being generous)

Was true bedlam. Think everyone on the planet was shocked to see us go 2-1 up with 10 men

I think the 2000 was the tv audience mate.

It would have been 2500 but the game clashed with "come dine with me"

True. Utter euphoria in the top tier when we scored the 2nd. No-one saw it coming, and when the celebrations eventually died down and I glanced over to the City fans you could see the utter disbelief and shock on their faces. At that point their world just caved in, and to then turn it round in 'fergie time' well, amazing.

Best game I've been to in 30 years for drama and suspense. First time for me at the Etihad, and as a modern arena type I thought the atmosphere would escape, but I was wrong, it was loud and spine tingling. Blue moon, posnan, friendly fans, great day.

Agreed Gerry, very noisy stadium and must admit it looked the bowlocks when all their fans were doing poznan when they scored first goal
