  • And the differance between a draw and a win today was....

A striker that can put the ball in the net!! Beckford scores Two today and they won, and now his price has gone up again...
Don't you just love Gianni "I've never done nothing wrong for this club" Paladini..

No mate, we'll stick with the sh1t that weve got and still be wondering where it all went wrong next May.....
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

    2015/2016, average at best.....

    2016/2017, same old, same old....

    2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Totally agree......you've only got to look at the stats from todays game to see that we are desperately in need of a player who can put the ball in the net!

im prepared to give it 5games before i start askin for a striker, i wanna see how the midfield gets on with the scoring responsibilities.....im more worried about 3 away games in row now seeing as how good we were away from home last season

we need a striker, Helguson was poor and if i remember correctly he missed an open goal and hit the bar?

on that basis we have started well too - in fact better.plym and bc both lost 1 - 0 and 2-0 leads respectfully to draw - we came from behind.

my only conclusion from Flabio & Co's reluctance to buy a proven striker and keep stocking up the midfield larder instead - can only be that they've seem the goals that Gerrard, Lampard, Ronaldo and Co score from midfield positions and feel that a forwards job is to hold up the play to allow midfielders time and space to score - why else don't they buy a "Beckford" type player ?

Helguson's misses cost us again today. We need a goal scorer ffs! Get beckford in next week or it'll be mid table at best for us this season

                        points from today

blackstock would have been great out there today

borrowdale was solid as was ramage

                        helguson is useless

taarabt is greedy, needs to learn to release it. i would drop him for the next game. i thought he was very average today. it might have something to do with him playing up front. he definatly is not a striker

balanta i thought went missing for most of the game

we need a striker big time

another thing i noticed, pete said there would be no long balls and we would play passing football. i think they played about ten long balls in the first 15 minutes.

i would say routledge was one of the best players out there

why have the itallian out there warming up when he is not even in the team.

Had we been able to start Vine, Ageymang and Buzsaky in place of Rowlands, Helgusson and Balanta we would have won IMO - shame they weren't fit enough.

Thought Mahon went about his job well today.

yeh i was bein a bit harsh on mahon really. he did ok, i just hate his indecisiveness which gets him caught out. and i agree helguson needs to be dropped for agyemang at the very least. not sure where u got that rowlands comment from tho, glad to see buzz back but rowly played well today. gutted hes gonna be out again
