  • Barton could still have a future at QPR - Tony Fernandes

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has refused to rule out Joey Barton playing for the Loftus Road club again.

QPR midfielder Joey Barton accepts one Football Association charge of violent conduct, but denies a second.

I hope he stays, ok he has a troubled side but he is a great player to have on the day, his performance against Spurs and Stoke was great

He's been really good since the Liverpool game. We need him next season imo

Hope we stand by Joey Barton.
He's a very good player, and I'm sure that if anyone can sort out his disciplinary problems, then that someone is Mark Hughes, and that won't just be to Joey's benefit, but the club's too.
