  • Barton to be banned for at least 10 matches next season.

According to Graham Poll.Four for the Tevez incedent as its Barton's second dismissal of the season, three for the Aquero assault and three more for the attempted head butt on Kompany.
For my part,I hope he doesn't don an R's shirt again. Can't stand the bloke, never could. His sending off yesterday could have cost us our Prem place but for Walter's very dubious first goal against Bolton as Man City's last two goals were scored in time added on primarily for Barton's sending off .

I couldn't care less if they ban him for the whole season, hopefully we will be well covered in the midfield area before the start of next season anyway and we won't need this loose cannon of a player!

I like Barton, yeah he's a thug and has his moments of madness, but he's our player and for that will continue to get my support as long as he puts in the sort of performances he has recently.

Up until the sending off he was having a very good game.

Unless I wasn't concentrating with all that was going on,but I hardly heard his name mentioned until the Tevez incedent which suggests a quiet game against his old club.

i agree i thought he was doing well up to that point. looking at the replays closely, it looked like tevez started it and then milked barton's reaction bigtime. another reason to dislike tevez intensely. i then think barton decided to try and get a city player red carded too.

whatever his ban i'd like to think we will be well catered for in midfield come the start of next season anyway.
              come on you r's!

10 game ban seems completely ridiculous, punishing 3 seperate incidents that we have seen players get away with this season time and time again.

Andy Carroll had a brawl yesterday and both players got a yellow.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                    That was almost comedy like.

Saw that and wondered why he was not sent off.

I think Barton getting 10 games is total rubbish. It will be more like 6 to 7 matches top wack. Suarez got 9 matches for racial abuse and there is no way that what Barton did yesterday was worse. 2nd Red card of the season means 4 games and he'll get 2 to 3 games extra for the kick on Aguero. He defended himself against Kompany and there was nothing in that, could argue his head was pushed by the City player. WTF was Balotelli doing entering the field of play without the ref's permission but I doubt the FA will do sod all about that. Also funny how Aguero never got booked for removing his shirt when he celebrated his goal. And I'll close with I doubt melt neck will have any action taken against him for his kick and punch on Barton before the incident all started.

Then again we are QPR and the FA hates us so who knows!

                          Aguero was booked.

And can we stop this FA conspiracy nonsense. Look at Stoke's goals yesterday and tell me the FA wanted us down.

That was a tongue and cheek statement.

Agree with Dazzer - he will not get a 10 match ban - and the headbut??? Was miles from that. He will get a 6 match ban I think, which is still quite massive.
