  • When City made it 3-2...

...I think our players didn't realize we were safe. Look at their reactions ... heads in hands, lying on the floor.
    Nice surprise for them

some did.. the bench got up when it was 2-2.. we knew about 30seconds before they scored the 3rd. our midfield switched off.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

jesus what a day....you lot weren t meant to spoil our party

today reminded me of our game against gilingham in the 1999 div 2 play off..it was nuts.

fair do's you hit us twice with two excellent goals, typical city it was never gonna be made easy for us.

all the hoops i spoke to at ours today were top, glad you stayed up, genuinely, thank fook we got a let off ! cheers for that lads, and well done, excellent noisy support..thought we were pretty quiet, it was all too nervy.

looking forward to getting to your gaff next year again

Our players knew. The fans were cheering at 2-2, the Management were dancing & jumping. They knew.

They were distraught and conceeding a late goal after 94 mins of superhuman effort to get something from the game. Wouldn't you be ?

Besides, Paddy would have saved that if he'd needed to.......

The R's bench went mental when we was still at 2-1 as the Bolton game finished 2-2. That I think spread onto the pitch and probably made the players lose their focus.

OC said in the after match interview the ref cost them today.

After our game he said about the Hill goal the ref didn't give it so it's not a goal.

Mind all managers say similar things when it goes against or for them
