Dear all.. been watching the board for a few months.. came here just after christmas.. depressed.. disillusioned.. and desperate for like minded souls to drag me from the pit of dispair that I was lost in...
Rangers supporter man and boy.. the first in my East London familywith a son desperate to see a Premier League game... I have been taking him to 3 or 4 games each season.. but I couldn't go this year..
Finally decided to register before the Liverpool game, had the chance to go.. but couldn't face watching a team that I loved.. not trying.. and that was the problem.. whilst I never expected us to overly achieve in the Premier league.. I did expect passion, commitment, effort.. and the usual drama from "my" little team.
Then they won... so I decided not to register here.. until I knew the outcome of the season.. then they won again.. and again.. and after the Spurs game, it felt only right that I should take my boy to the Stoke game.. let him have his wish of watching us in the Premier league.. for who knows.. we may not have had the opportunity for many years to come if we were relegated.
And what a last 5 minutes at the Stoke game.. I'm sure it was the loudest I'd ever heard once Cisses scored.. boy held aloft so he could see.. throat raw from shouting.. and did anyone sit down after we had scored?
Came out of that game thinking whatever happened.. we had tried.. done ourselves justice.. and what a shame it would be if we went down because I'm sure each and every one of us would like to see what would happen if Hughes had a chance to shape a team for next year.. even though I was disappointed to see Warnock be sacked at the time..
So hear we are.. it was my fault we lost today.. decided to not watch the game.. but curiousity got the better of me at 91 mins when we were 2 - 1 up and Stoke had drawn level.. surely Citeh wouldn't get 2.. surely Bolton wouldn't get a winner.. within 30seconds of looking they were back level.. and I ran from the room in case Bolton would get a third..
But this is my team.. our team .. this is how we do things.. would I swap this for the North London Library? never.. never.. NEVER.. EVER!!!
And if I needed to point to heroes.. Clint.. Jamie... neither possessed with unlimited talent.. but if any players made this happen.. its them.. well done fellas..
So here I am.. able at last to register here.. join in the celebrations.. and say a big U R'sss.. to all of you.. my other family..
Roll on next season!
