Going into the last game this season with a slight possiblity of going down, or going into the last game of last season with a possible chance of a points deduction.
This year by miles. last year we would have ended up in the playoffs, this year who knows!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
Got to be this. If we're down we're down, at least with the points deduction we may still have made the playoffs or something! Certainly felt more comfortable last year.
this is worse. never thought we would get points deducted last year. this year thought it was all over after blackburn game but then confident after liverpool then down after west brom now this!
I was watching sky sports all day long when at home, couldn't stop thinking about it while away from home. This is different because if we go down, then we deserve to go down.
Last year there was a possibility that something that was rightfully ours was going to be taken away from us.
Last season without doubt, to think we could have been denied our rightful place. How the team would have raised themselves for the play offs goodness knows. This time I'd love to stay up but, what will be will be. In a strange way I won't mind going back to the Championship too much.
Last year was 10 times worse, the waiting for the verdict was awful and I remember people being made ill, having to take time off work etc. The thought of losing something we so richly deserved was anguish.
And, at the time, most of us were agreed that the psychological effect on the players, if we'd had to go through the playoffs, would make it very unlikely we would have won them.
This year, a part of me is saying, if we go down, we have largely brought about our own downfall, so, although it will be sad, it is not necessarily undeserved.

last year by a mile..if we go down tomorrow it would be as a result of what happened on the pitch(or didnt happen!!), and not in the hands of the FA as last year.
Last year and this year put together. Sorry, but that´s my take at it. Said it before and I say it again, the FA have smelt blood ever since the verdict was given.
Hopefully, they cant "catch" us after tomorrow.
